One-to-One Coaching

What is my approach to working with a new client?

Usually, we begin with a 30 minute “chemistry conversation” where I find out a little about you and what brings you to coaching, outline what you can expect from me and how we can work together, and answer any questions you might have. We can do this on the phone, via video call or in person. Following the call I will send an email reflecting back what I’ve heard in terms of your coaching objectives, and suggest some options for how we could work together. I offer this chemistry session free of charge, and with no obligation.

You can then decide whether and how will we work together. This could involve a package of 4-8 sessions structured around your goals, or could evolve more organically, one session at a time.

Prior to the first session, I will send you a questionnaire and a simple exercise (both entirely optional) which other clients have found helpful to complete, to clarify what they are looking to get from our coaching work, and to situate any specific issues within their life more generally.

I prefer to meet face-to-face, especially for the first full session, but I’m happy to meet via a video call if that’s easier. I always enjoy working outside, either sitting down or walking and talking, so that is an option to consider.
